Case Studies

Consulting Company
A consulting company found challenges in deploying 100% coverage to a seven-acre lumber yard and its onsite warehouses. The lumber yard was deploying new software and barcode scanners, and needed a reliable and high-performing network with 100% outdoor coverage.

Cambium ePmP was selected for connectivity across warehouse locations on the property, and Ruckus outdoor access points were selected for the Wi-Fi. This provided 100% coverage across the entire lumber yard, allowing their barcode scanners to connect without interruption.

Pneumatic Tube Manufacturing Company
The cost of burial or aerial fiber to provide connectivity to new office space the company was expanding into proved too much. Two BridgeWave AR80’s with AES were selected to provide connectivity. One at 1 gbps for the primary link and one at 100 mbps for the backup link were installed and deliver outstanding performance.

Space Engineering Company
The cost of deploying burial or aerial fiber was cost prohibitive, so a BridgeWave AR80 with AES was chosen as the primary link at 1 gbps, and a Cambium PTP 650 with AES was chosen as a backup link at 450 mbps. It was installed providing full network connectivity to two buildings half mile apart with clear line of site.

Soda Ash Mining Company
This company was starting up a mine site that had been decommissioned since the 1990s. The cost of laying burial fiber was in the millions, so two DragonWave Quantum links were installed that provide 1.6 gbps of connectivity in a fully redundant environment.
